One of the very last pictures I have of my son nursing. He weaned when he was 4 1/2 years old, while I was pregnant, with some gentle encouragement from me. There was just no milk left for him, and he kept checking to see that it was empty. He nursed for the last time on December 21st, 2007.

Thank you so much for sharing your precious nursing photo. i was on the net looking for info on how to wean my 3 year old and all I found were more great reasons for continueing to nurse him! Thanks so much for reinforcing this wonderful loving experience. Shelly

Like your other commenter, I was also looking for info on weaning my 3-yr-old (who already doesn't nurse that much.) There's just not that much out there!
